I don't know if I mentioned this, but I was very upset to realize I left my book on the plane when I arrived in Cali. I have since started a new one, but I have been pining over the un-finished 'Tis, by Frank McCourt. So today, I snuck into (read: walked right in) the library and found it and then, since I don't have a library card, I sat in the aisle and read a chapter. I felt so sneaky, like a kid in one of those elementary school chapter books where they hide in the library or museum or go through some old lady's files... I plan on doing this until I'm done with the book.

In other news, I have now begun to cold call production companies in the hopes that someone will hire me.
