I'm so angry, I didn't even feel it. (that's what she said.) The earthquake apparently lasted 40 seconds and was a magnitude of 5.4. Now, I don;t really know what that means, but let's just say it wasn't small. (again, that's what she said.) It occurred at 11:42 AM on July 29th at which time I was walking into town to continue my daily ritual of sitting in a coffee shop. I don't really understand why I felt nothing, my friends say probably because I was walking, but still. I found out there was an earthquake when my dad called that afternoon to see how I was. Of course, mom followed up as well, though slightly more neurotic. How I wish I had been in a tall building like many of my friends were. Out here they are all on rollers, so they sway. I can't believe my first ever earthquake experience was completely lost on me.
In other news, I have discovered Dawson's Creek. I am now on the second season, and I hate Jen. Also, Dawson gets on my nerves but the fact of the matter is this show is addicting. You might say, I'm up a Creek. Damn I love TV.
