Having spent the past couple of hours sorting through old papers and photos (mom is purging the house) I decided I will open this, my very first blog, with a poem I wrote, spontaneously, at the age of four.

A frog is called a toad.
A toad is called a frog.
Why doesn't they call it a Tog?

I believe this poem is deeply insightful and if nothing else, gives me confidence in my creative abilities.

Over the course of this blog, I will take you through my quest to take Hollywood by storm. And so, an update. I'm still on the East coast, but am finding time to work on some screenplays. The idea I'm focusing on right now requires a great deal of research, so while it's fun for me to engross myself in that, it's somewhat frustrating to not be able to just start writing. Also, I'm not entirely sure when I will "know" enough to start writing, or if I will be able to tell when that time comes. Nonetheless, I feel a bit like a detective, tracking down info, which is kind of exciting. It's amazing where you can get by dropping the H-bomb. The plan is to head out to LA in mid-July so until then, my goal is to write a much as possible while I have the time. If I want to direct, I have to write my own stuff, at least for now. If you're reading this, it probably means your a good friend of mine, which also means I will probably shamelessly steal your life story, or at least your name, and turn it into an award-winning film. Oh, and I'll take all the credit.

More updates to come, and of course, more poetry.
